Ava Hill, LPC-S
Mental wellness and health are a considerable portion of what I am most passionate about in life. What happens in our minds influences all that we do. Learning to manage our emotions as people can be an empowering process, and I love seeing the growth that comes from opening oneself up to change.
My approach is always to walk alongside my clients and help them create a healthy mental space, both holistically and mindfully.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Before receiving my master’s degree, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Since becoming an LPC, I have gained experience in working with individuals with addiction disorders and mental health concerns of all kinds. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, women’s issues, trauma, relationship struggles, and personal boundaries development.
I work with and empower my clients to identify the elements necessary for personal growth, hope, realization, and self-discovery. Counseling is an empowering experience, and working together to create change and growth within my clients is the most rewarding part of my work as a counselor.
